Two Shifts Available
M-Th 1:00 pm to 11:30 am
M-Fr 7 am to 3:30 pm (earlier start possible)

Responsibilities:

  • Review planning/engineering, work instructions and tooling to verify appropriate work process and quality requirements before starting job.
  • Perform accurate and timely completion of all job order documentation and associated paperwork, part counts, tie-in information, etc.
  • Ability to operate machines with minimal direction.
  • Run multiple CNC mill and/or lathe machines
  • Work complex setups on 3, 4, 5 axis mills or multi-axis lathes
  • Work well with team members
  • Experience in use of precision hand tools.
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
  • Knowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.
  • Print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Able to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately
  • Knowledge of inspection equipment such as; calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
  • Familiar with use of personal computers.
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.

Desired:

  • Fanuc, DMG and Haas controls
  • Multi-axis lathe and mill experience preferred.
  • Machining of nickel-based stainless steel alloys, copper, titanium preferred.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).
  • Ability to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts
  • Experience machining aerospace components
  • Experience programming in Mastercam

Wages: $26-32 per hour, however, we’ll pay commensurate to your output. So if you believe you pump out parts, and can do that here, we’ll pay you for it.
